This year for my coursework instead of using just copyright free music from a website Me and Alex are commissioning our friend Olivier 'Livz' Trouille to compose the Soundtrack to our film. He studies Music, Spanish and Psychology at Ilkley Grammar School. At the moment he is a Grade 3/4 on the Piano and a Grade 7 on Guitar but doing his Grade 8 in December. Our Plan is to first Film and Edit together the basic Movie than give a copy to him so he can compose his music over the top of it making sure it fits in with the movie.
The Benefits of this are:
- We will have a totally unique soundtrack on our movie which no-one will have.
- We can have creative input as well to make sure that the music fits with the mood of the scene.
